Arts Integration
is an  approach
to teaching and learning through which content standards are
taught and assessed equitably in and through the arts.

Lesson Plans

As the The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing ArtsEdge program states, "Arts integration learning is actively built, experiential, evolving, collaborative, problem-solving, and reflective." As educators we want to provide the opportunities for students to make real life, interdisciplinary connections, to share their knowledge in multiple ways and to develop a deeper understanding of what they learning. Arts integration can make that happen.
